Missions giveaway

Annie is doing a giveaway and I am one of her donors for the giveaway.
Check her out here.

I am feeling so sleepy and a tad bit frustrated. I lost a wedding gig, the client went with a more cost-effective photographer, which is totally fine. But I did put time and some energy into meeting with this couple. Oh well...
I guess I am just really feeling the desire to work in a field that I am actually passionate about doing something that I love to do. Rather then working somewhere adequate that is just a job.

I'll end here because if I don't it's about to get "poor me", pity party...no thanks!

Dear God thank you for the ideas you put in my head. The talents and abilities You have given me I love! I love you and I am so thankful for how You love me. Dear friends/family/strangers who donated things for the missions fundraiser garage sale. Thank you ever so much! Dear CYIA I will miss you so much this week, but we will be reunited on Friday and I can't wait! Dear K you are a great friend, the ideas you gave me this week were so awesome! I love how we can have theological discussions it makes my heart glad how we can communicate and agree on the truth of Gods work. Dear M little one you were so great this week, I love you so much little man. Thanks for smiling for me! Dear H Girl I miss you so much! I looked at a text from you this morning and started crying, granted I am running on little to no sleep. I hope things are going well for you in Mozambique. Counting down the days until our seester seester time happens again.
Dear J and J I am proud of you girls and am so thankful for how you just got down to business, thought out and planned the garage sale. I appreciate that you are understanding of my responsibilities and are willing to work with me. Without you girls this thing would not have happened.

Summer Missions!

Hey Everyone!  Having been apart of several different ministries during my lifetime, missions is something that is very dear to my heart. You may have heard that my sister and I are planning to go to South Africa on July 28 through August 12. There we will be working with Impact Africa, this ministry does many different things. They minister to those who live in sqautter camps as well as teach children in daycare/school settings. My sister has worked with them for the last two summers and now we are both able to go and minister with this awesome ministry.

God is so faithful in providing! I have been amazed at how He is working. Throughout this whole process I have not had big fears or worries. Yes there have been little worries but more so to do with what is going on here and not with what will/could happen while in South Africa.

This is a big thing for me, I am usually a B.I.G. worrier but God has given me peace about doing this big thing. 2 Timothy 1:7 is consistently on my mind. "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind."

If you would like to be a part of this trip there are a few ways you can do so.
1. By praying, my sister and I would greatly appreciate you going before the throne on our behalf.
Pray for safety,
good communication between my sister and I & those we will be working with in South Africa
For us to be guided by the Holy Spirit.

2. You can donate to help with the remaining funds.
Both my sister and I needed $2,700 for this trip, God has been so faithful to provide and we have about $800 left to go.
You can donate by using the "donate" button on the top right corner of my blog.

Thank you for reading my ramblings.
Check out the giveaway that Annie is doing, you can visit her lovely blog here.
Annie is going to Spain in July, for a fundraiser she is doing a GIVEAWAY that will be announced next Wednesday, June 20th!

Fridays Letters

Dear God oh the things that You are doing! I am so thankful for the ways You provide & how You are consistently teaching me. You've given me skills and passions that I love. Only a skilled Creator could have had the forethought & ability to carry that out.
Dear Pride YOU ARE A GIANT PUNK please take a hike, this chick is the Lords & has no need/room for pride to come creeping in, thanks.
Dear Internet company thank you for finally realizing your error in sending a bad modem, I am relieved to once again posses the ability to visit the world wide inter web at my convenience. I must say it was a tad bit nice to not have the distraction though, maybe I learned something.
Dear K though that purse call was slightly embarrassing I find it extremely funny....please don't stop talking to me because I can't rap... lol (*I can learn)
Dear Sister (J) I am thankful for your knowledge & desire to know whats up in the world of flying & fundraising, thanks for doing all you have done for our trip to South Africa, I am excited. The plane rides will be epic! Nacho & gangsta will be flying all over the place!
Dear Brother (P) I owe you a debt of gratitude...and one of $13.75...for changing the oil in my car, Olivia sends her thoughts of deepest gratitude as well.
